Scout Motors is engineering the next era of EV trucks and SUVs with its latest breakthrough, the Harvester Range Extender, an onboard gas-powered generator that recharges the vehicle’s high-voltage battery to extend its range. 

Turns out, the next best thing to happen to electric is gas. Another example of American ingenuity that’s just crazy enough to work.

To launch this unbelievable new tech, we told an unbelievable tale. Directed by Jake Scott with RSA and filmed on Oregon’s Clackamas River, “Fish On” takes one fisherman from the catch of a lifetime to a white-knuckle ride through dangerous rapids, a ravenous bear, and over a towering waterfall.

It’s a story that can’t be topped. Until it is.
