Scout Motors “Have a Great Day”
In 2024, Scout Motors broke ground on a $2 billion factory in Blythewood, South Carolina - a small town of 6,000 now home to one of the country’s most ambitious manufacturing projects, capable of producing 200,000 trucks and SUVs annually. To celebrate, Scout and VB+P partnered with directors The Malloys and Alpen/Superprime to create “Have A Great Day,” a love letter to the town, its community, and the people shaping the company’s future. Shot entirely in Blythewood, without any actors, and with a cameo from the S.C. Governor Henry McMaster, the film captures the spirit that drew Scout to the town: kinship, optimism, and blue-sky ambition. Launched the day after Labor Day, the campaign is supported by local initiatives, including newspaper ads honoring early employees’ hometowns and handing out 4,000 free cups of coffee, reflecting Scout’s belief that building vehicles is about more than capability - it’s about creating memories together.
