vbp orange announced it has hired Marc Woollard as Director of Experience Design. In this new role, Marc will work alongside Harlan Kennedy, director of strategy, to help lead orange’s efforts in creating people-centered, socially aware experiences, services and products.

“People who are skilled at creating great customer experiences usually have a rare mix of talents,” says Kennedy. “Marc combines a disciplined approach to design, a design-thinking rigor, with an open, inclusive way of working that is important both for the culture of orange, as well as the way we engage with clients. vbp orange has done some great things in our first two years, and Marc is exactly what we need right now to get to the next level.”

Before coming to orange, Marc led design thinking at Hornall Anderson, and IDEO, where he successfully introduced, integrated and grew the discipline of Communication Design into a global business offering. He joins orange at a time of rapid growth. In 2012, the consultancy grew 400% in revenue. Currently, the team is working with Audi to re-imagine its ownership experience across 278 U.S dealerships. Additionally, orange has developed relationships with clients like ConAgra, arts and technology organization Zero1, MediaX at Stanford University, March of Dimes, Embrace and Italian Bank Fineco.
