Michael Davidson - Associate Partner, Head of Strategy

As Associate Partner, Head of Strategy, Michael Davidson oversees VB&P's department housing account planning and communications strategy. He is a rare breed; a strategic powerhouse and an inspiring leader who is dedicated to growing talent. Since joining VB&P in 2013, Michael has played a key role in the agency’s growth, helping win Reebok, adidas Golf and REI. For Reebok, his strategic insights globally repositioned the brand under the award-winning “Be More Human” campaign. Before VB&P, Michael was at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, where he spent two stints – his first working on The Wall Street Journal and Haagen-Dazs and as Group Strategy Director leading Sprint’s “Now Network” and “All Together Now” campaigns. He also helped Goodby pitch and create Xfinity’s “Future of Awesome” platform. Prior to Goodby, Davidson spent a collective six years at AMV.BBDO leading marketing for British Telecom, shaping Guinness’ highly acclaimed “Good Things Come to Those Who Wait” campaign, and also working alongside now VB&P Partner and President, Paul Birks-Hay. He also spent time at TBWA\London, helping craft the Labour party’s re-election strategy, running their focus group program (reporting directly to Tony Blair) and developing the “If you value it, vote for it” campaign.<br />
